Old White Door


I really like images of ruins, ancient decay, industrial debris, abandoned buildings, rotting machinery, and other reminders of the transient nature of physical entities and human life. We should more frequently contemplate our personal death and the dissolving of all things.

Gone With No Goodbye


Obliterated. No trace of what this once was. Washed away, like the memory of who we are and what we did. It all swirls swiftly down the drain of time and dissolution. Lost. Erased. Evaporated. Only the metaphysical residue remains, the karma we produced for future generations, the anonymous legacy of our spirituality.

I like to take photos with color field contrasts and visually composed shapes. Do you see the V in the middle? Notice how the visual field is cut in half horizontally? Observe the stark contrast between the left side, with air conditioners and windows, and the right side, that is grey brick.
